I have a Gammill Optimum Plus Long Arm Quilting Machine and offer machine quilting to the public at my studio on the farm. I love to finish quilts, after all that’s when they can be used! The top may look great once it is pieced but once it is quilted it finally looks complete! Let me help you get your tops finished – they will look beautiful and will be ready to be loved, cherished and used. My studio is smoke free to keep your quilt at its best. I also change my quilting needle for each quilt I do. Please read the following recommendations so I will be able to complete your top as soon as you drop it off. I am happy to guide or help you in any way I can to make sure you are happy with the finished quilt. My LEAD TIME is generally 1-2 weeks, only in the height of summer I may be a little further behind due to garden time. We accept Visa & MasterCard.

We also offer a FREQUENT QUILTER (FQ) discount. For every 10 quilts you have quilted you will receive $15.00 off your next quilting service!

Quilt Preparation
1. Press your top and backing well.
2. Make sure top and back are both square.
3. Mark top of quilt, front & back if there is a distinction.
4. Backing and batting need to be 6” wider and 6” longer than your quilt top, please measure – let me know if you need help with this.
5. I will quilt your quilt as free of puckers, pleats & tucks as your piecing will allow.
6. Please fill out order form completely if mailing or bring it is with any questions if you are dropping off your top.

Services
1. Pantograph Edge to edge – A continuous pattern which covers the entire quilt top. I have more than 60 designs to choose from.
2. Stipple – a puzzle like freehand design that can cover the entire quilt or be used to highlight or enhance certain areas. Available in 4 sizes.
3. Custom – I also offer block designs, border designs and/or a mix of all the above to really enhance the look of your quilt.

Pricing
All are per square inch pricing – to figure your square inches multiply your length by your width, then multiply by the price.
Minimum charge - $35.00
Simple edge to edge pantographs - $.0125 to $.0175
Complex edge to edge pantographs - $.02 to .04
Stippling – micro to large - $.035 to .0125
Crosshatch overall - $.015
Block Designs - $.02 to $.04
Custom - $.02 to .05

Border designs are also available. I also do seaming of backings, pressing. Binding, labels and hanging sleeves. Machine basting for hand quilters is also available.

BATTINGS
We stock Quilters Dream Battings. They are excellent quality and suitable for machine quilting, and many are also good for hand quilting. We stock the following on bulk rolls:

Dream Cotton - 100% cotton in Request or Select Weight – 93” wide
Dream Wool – 100% washable wool, warm & breathable – 93” wide
Dream Poly – in Request or Deluxe Weight – 93” wide
Dream Blend – a 70/30 cotton/poly blend – 122” wide

Weight definitions: Request – lightest, Select – medium, Deluxe – heaviest

We also have packages of batting in:

Dream Angel – fire retardant in Select weight in crib size = 60x46
Dream Poly Black – for dark quilts, in Request weight in queen size = 108x93
Dream Poly – Request weight in craft size = 46x36

EXTRA WIDE BACKING FABRICS

We now also stock a wide selection of extra wide backing fabrics. They are of excellent quality, pretty and very affordable. They range in widths from 104” to 118”. We have traditional colors and patterns as well as an assortment of Batik backings. These are from SewBatik and are 108” wide and we carry several 3 yard cuts and also have swatches of over 80 choices all that can be ordered and arrive within a week. Prices for the extra wides range from $10.00 to $18.99 a yard – what a savings!!

On display in the studio and throughout the FarmStand are many quilts, all handmade and quilted by Suzanne, in all sizes, patterns and colors. I also make custom quilts in any size for any occasion. The best time to have me do these is in the winter months, as I have more time available. I’d love to show you my work, so come by the stand anytime.
